Academy Award Nominations – Complete List for 2019
The Academy Award nominations were unveiled in an engaging live announcement at the Academy's headquarters in Beverly Hills. The charismatic actor-comedian and Oscar®-nominated writer Kumail Nanjiani, along with the incredibly talented actress-producer-director Tracee Ellis Ross, had the honor of revealing the nominees.

How are the Award Winners Determined?
Academy Award nominees are carefully selected through a voting process conducted by members from each of the 17 specialized branches, guaranteeing that professionals in each category, such as actors and film editors, have a say in their respective fields. For categories like Animated Feature XXXXXXXXXXX
and Foreign Language Film, the involvement of multi-branch screening committees is crucial in the nomination process. The Best Picture category allows all voting members to have a voice in selecting nominees. As we near the concluding phase, active Academy members can exercise their voting privileges to determine the winners in all 24 categories from Tuesday, February 12, through Tuesday, February 19.

The prestigious 91st Oscars are scheduled for Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the renowned Dolby Theatre® in Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood. Oscar Party
I look forward to Oscar night every year. The Oscars are my equivalent to the Super Bowl and I get the big screen in the man cave for the night. My daughter and I usually dress up and host a party to watch the stars walk the red carpet, critique the dresses, and to watch the show to see who will win one of the most coveted awards.

So many great nominations! It will be fun to watch the show and see who wins. It’s interesting to hear the predictions and what actually happens. I haven’t watched a lot of movies this year, so I am less familiar with these than usual.

I’m pretty upset Crazy Rich Asians didn’t receive a nomination. 🙁 Hopefully the other two books in the series receive film adaptations and get nominated in the future.

I really hope that black panther wins because that movie was awesome. I think the lineup this year is OK could be better.
I would love if Black Panther won! The movie definitely will not go home without a few awards in my opinion.

I just watched Bohemian Rhapsody again last night. I love it and hope it wins. Although I wouldn’t be disappointed if Black Panther or A Star is Born wins either.
