Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Designer Showhouse is Back!
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) Designer Showhouse, is the creation of esteemed architect and Harrison Design’s Modern Studio Director, Robert Tretsch III. The striking 7,000 square foot, light-filled home at 2716 Ridgewood Road in Atlanta sits on more than an acre of property surrounded by nature. The Showhouse returns in celebration of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s 75th Anniversary with a design inspired by a 1945 Atlanta Youth Symphony performance. The dramatic light-filled interior and contrasting understated contemporary exterior design are inspired by passages from Rossini and Schubert, which were performed during that inaugural season.

Proceeds from Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Designer Showhouse
Proceeds from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Designer Showhouse benefit the ASO’s education and community engagement programs. Each year, the ASO shares the beauty of orchestral music with thousands of young people through outreach initiatives including Concerts for Young People, Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, Talent Development Program, Student Ticket Program, and the Family Concert Series. Financial support from projects like the Designer Showhouse allows the ASO to engage and delight the next generation of classical music lovers.
“It is our great pleasure to re-introduce the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Designer Showhouse to Atlanta. The home is truly incredible — a symbolic moment in our 75th Anniversary season, celebrating our rich history in this community and setting the stage for a bold and exciting future. We are incredibly grateful to the partners and designers who have come together to bring this home to life.”
— Tammy Hawk, Vice President of Marketing & Communications, ASO.

About the Home
A striking foyer introduces the home’s light/dark contrast theme and invites guests to an open, multi-story space with huge expanses of curtain wall visually connecting the interior to the beauty outside. The master bedroom and bath (designed by William Peace) feature designs that are at once edgy and cozy; including “his” and “her” lounges to relax, retreat and recharge. A total of five bedrooms have been individually created by Atlanta-area designers to reflect the diversity of the city. The home features seven bathrooms, two laundry rooms, a mudroom, terrace room, game room, downstairs lounge, and, of course, a music room featuring a 6’1” Steinway piano.
Immediately off the family-living-dining rooms and entertaining space (designed by Barbara Westbrook) is a 65-foot pool and spa with a specially designed pool deck, pool bath, and covered porch. The kitchen, created by Atlanta’s Design Galleria Kitchen and Bath Studio (designed by Matthew Quinn), includes a gourmet chef cooktop with expansive outside views via a window wall, a massive island housing a large sink, plentiful storage and seating, and a “tall wall” with two ovens, refrigerator, appliance garage, and pantry.
Stone counters, fireplace, and master shower by Temmer Marble. The curtain wall is Reynaers (Belgium) by Expert Window and Door. The main entrance and lower doors are pivoting by La Cantina. The exterior is Meridian brick and the black mirror wall panels, a first in the US, are Nichiha Miraia panels by Legendary Exteriors. The plumbing fixtures are by Porcelanosa and Dornbracht. Lighting is Juno, Lighting Technology Design. The projection system is Barco Digital Canvas by Electronic Home, Inc.
