Revamp Daily Food Intake

When it comes to preparing your meals, no matter the chores and obligations you may have, you need to leave out the processed and prepared foods, and fast food options.  Do your best to prepare fresh meals at home, and if necessary take them to work for lunch. If you are used to having dessert after lunch or snacking throughout the day, go for healthy chia seed pudding with goji berries and almond milk. Or a delicious smoothie with natural yogurt, cinnamon, and raw cacao powder.

Listen to your Body

Always listen to your body. When you finally transform your diet, avoid eating hydrogenated fats and deep-fried foods that contain harmful compounds, you can say that you are on a perfect path of maintaining positive and healthy eating habits. Probably up to now, you have discovered that your body feels over-saturated, your stomach bloated, and upset when you eat deep-fried foods. By listening to your body you will notice how revived it will become after you have kicked out or at least swapped out snacks, sugar, refined flour and sugar products, processed, ready-made and fast foods.

When you are focusing on completely overhauling your diet, the only thing that you should be drinking is plain water. And lots of it. Drinking a minimum of two liters of water per day works miracles for your body. It detoxifies your entire system, cleanses your body, refreshes your skin, and it even helps to shed pounds. What more can you ask for?

    Honestly, I do not need to lose weight, but I would do this diet for the healthy benefits. I make sure I stay hydrated and drink lots of water every day.

  • Food for thought… I have never followed a diet, however I am trying to change some of my habits by eating cleaner foods. It is sometimes difficult to navigate all the information floating out there. Sometimes you can’t recognize the fads from the real stuff!
