Concert for America in Atlanta – Stand Up, Sing Out

After years of engaging in fundraisers and volunteering for various non-profit organizations, spouses Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley decided to establish their own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Seeking to provide direct assistance to one of the most vulnerable populations in society—children—their brainchild, Your Kids, Our Kids, was born.

Initially focusing on children, it soon became evident that the number of people at risk in the United States had significantly increased, and the outreach had broadened immensely.

James and Seth decided to employ their usual crisis response strategy: gather their friends and put on a show! Their goal was to support a diverse array of non-profit organizations serving different communities, all with a shared focus on fighting for civil and human rights for all Americans. Thus, on January 20, 2017, the inaugural edition of Concert for America premiered at The Town Hall in New York City, with plans to tour the country every month in the future. Their mission remains consistent: to raise funds and instill hope, inspiration, and the desire for active citizenship in their fellow Americans.
