Hack the Vax with the Meg Foundation!

This “Hack the Vax with the Meg Foundation” is a sponsored post by the Meg Foundation.
All opinions expressed are my own.

I don't know anyone that actually enjoys getting a shot, do you?  I literally can't stand the sight of a needle.

Sometimes I sit back and wonder about how I actually survived the miracle of having two children via c-section and all of the needles that I had to endure throughout my pregnancies and during the surgeries.

When I look back to the time that my husband and I started talking about having children, I realize that the precious miracle of bringing two wonderful children into this world was worth every needle poke and so much more.

To, this day, needles still make me anxious but in the end, I care more about the importance of my health and the importance of keeping others healthy than I do about getting shots so I endure the few seconds of the injection into my skin for the greater good.

Needle Humor

Cue the corny needle jokes!

  • I’d tell you a joke about a blunt needle but it’s pointless.
  • I would tell you a joke about a needle in a haystack, but I don’t think you’d see the point.
  • Good acupuncture is a jab well done.

  • Amazing how a small needle can be so scary. I have a very low pain tolerance, so I do get anxious with taking a shot of vaxx. This is so timely that we all are thinking about the Corona Virus vaxx.

  • I really needed to read this today. I am so, so scared of needles despite being covered in tattoos. But I’m still going to go for the vax. It’ll just keep me up at night until then.
