In January of 2018, made the pledge to Choose Love. I made the pledge to accept others regardless of our differences, to not exclude anyone because they do not believe in the same things that I believe in, and to go out of my way to focus on love and not hate or division. Will you make that pledge with me?

The Redemptive Power of Love – Bishop Michael Curry
I was inspired by the sermon Bishop Michael Bruce Curry presented at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and wanted to share a portion of it as it truly defines the way I feel about love and wish all could embrace its true meaning and message.
Bishop Curry, the first African-American presiding bishop of the American Episcopal Church made history as the first African-American bishop to preside over a Royal Wedding. Millions of people around the world watched the royal wedding of Britain's Prince Harry, 33, and American actress Meghan Markle, 36, and witnessed Bishop Curry's sermon on the “redemptive power of love.” His robust sermon focused on a variety of topics including politics, civil rights, and social justice.

Love is not selfish and self-centered. Love can be sacrificial, and in so doing, becomes redemptive. And that way of unselfish, sacrificial, redemptive love changes lives, and it can change this world. If you don't believe me, just stop and imagine. Think and imagine a world where love is the way. Imagine our homes and families where love is the way. Imagine neighborhoods and communities where love is the way.
Imagine governments and nations where love is the way. Imagine business and commerce where this love is the way.
Imagine this tired old world where love is the way. When love is the way – unselfish, sacrificial, redemptive.
When love is the way, then no child will go to bed hungry in this world ever again.
When love is the way, we will let justice roll down like a mighty stream and righteousness like an ever-flowing brook.
When love is the way, poverty will become history. When love is the way, the earth will be a sanctuary.
When love is the way, we will lay down our swords and shields, down by the riverside, to study war no more.
When love is the way, there's plenty of good room – plenty good room – for all of God's children. Because when love is the way, we actually treat each other, well… like we are actually family.
When love is the way, we know that God is the source of us all, and we are brothers and sisters, children of God.
My brothers and sisters, that's a new heaven, a new earth, a new world, a new human family.
With all of the negativity that is going on in the world right now, we need love more than ever. I believe that it is easier to love than it is to hate. We are born with love in our hearts. Hate is learned and it takes an effort to hate.

This is such a great campaign to back. Whenever I see people supporting this it really makes me smile. For me love can really conquer all.
That was a lovely wedding and a great speech. With all the partisan politics, hatred and strife in the country and in the world, it’s great to be reminded of the redemptive power of love in our lives and society.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud.
Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others.
Love does not count up wrongs that have been done.
Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth.

What an amazing cause! I am so inspiring by your effort in this campaign. Yes! Choose love! I wish more people would do so. We live in a selfish culture where people are out for themselves by any means necessary. Choosing love doesn’t mean you are weak. It means you are strong enough to put others’ needs in front of your own knowing that only good can come back to you because of it.

OMG, This shirt is such a pretty one. I just love it. This shirt it fits together really well.
I think this campaign is simply genius! I love and share this idea too! Yes, sometimes it can be difficult when people say “we must leave refugees to die drowned in the sea rather than welcome them”, it is difficult to stand in a position of respect of someone who promotes death, discrimination and violence. But I am trying to understand more those people rather than simply oppose to them, It’s not easy! I also choose love, Love is inclusive and nobody shall be left behind.
I love the message behind this campaign! We need to choose love now more than ever if you ask me!
Love is not selfish and love is the way. Governments based on love will not loot the nation’s treasury as feeding troughs for their own families and other selfish gains, this is one of the major cause of underdevelopment in some countries
