I have loved Kenan Thompson from the first time I saw his debut on Nickelodeon’s comedy hit show “All That.” “All That” was a hilarious sketch-comedy series on Nickelodeon that ran from the 1990s through to 2000s.

Nickelodeon is reviving “All That” as a “Saturday Night Live” for the tween set — with an all-new cast. Kenan Thompson will serve as an executive producer for the show and Nickelodeon is anticipating former cast members making appearances in the series.

When I first learned Kenan Thompson would star in one of my favorite shows of all time – Saturday Night Live (SNL) – I was in comedic anticipation heaven. I knew Kenan would be the perfect addition to the show as his comedic appeal is limitless. I literally watched his shows “All That” and “Kenan & Kel” with friends of all ages and none of us could hold a straight face throughout an episode.

Kenan Thompson is now SNL’ s longest running actor and comedian, Kenan and his producing partner, Cherie Chiles-Buchanan have created a comedy competition tour series to identify the funniest young people in the country! Kenan is passionate about finding talented young comedians and actors to hit the stage and to have a real opportunity to take their career to the next level. Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Showcase heads to Atlanta and Los Angeles with the finalists competing at Caroline’s on Broadway in NYC. Celebrities and industry insiders judge the competition.

Who Wants to be a Comedian?

Laughter is the key to life. It is their mission to showcase the raw talents of up- and-coming actors and comedians, ages 8-18, to agents, producers, and an audience of their family, friends and peers. Kenan Thompson and his team will provide the Ultimate Comedy Experience to 2 winners. Young stars will be performing their best material in hopes of taking their careers to the next level!
